Value for Money
Is the public getting results for its money?
A deterministic, evidence-based score of how well each department turns public funding into value — competitively procured spending, disciplined budgets, and an efficient workforce.
Computed entirely from public data (GETS procurement, Treasury financials, PSC workforce). No AI guesswork — every number is traceable.

How the score works
Each department is scored 0–100 across three signals — procurement competitiveness, budget discipline, and workforce cost efficiency — then benchmarked against peers. The coverage bar shows how many signals had public data; departments with limited data are scored only on what is available. This focuses on outcomes for the public dollar, not procedural box-ticking.
